August Meeting Next Thursday

We're back!

After a brief hiatus, we'll be holding our August meeting next Thursday, the 19th, with food and networking starting at 6:15, and our presentation beginning at 7:00.

This month, our speaker is the illustrious Mike Brunt. Mike is one of the world's foremost authorities on ColdFusion server performance and tuning, and he'll be talking about using caching to increase performance. If want to learn about practical techniques you can use to speed up your site or application, this is the session for you!

Please respond to our mailing list thread if you think you might attend, as we'll be submitting a list of names for parking permit exemptions on Monday.

IECFUG meeting moved to June 24th

Our IECFUG meeting has moved to June 24th, 6:30pm same location that you can find in our site here.  For our next topic we will have our very own Luis Majano and the topic is below:

Topic: MockBox

Discuss the capabilities of mocking and unit testing, the inspiration behind MockBox, its usage and features, and then I would like to finish with a roundtable of discussions about mocking and unit testing.

Agenda:

6:30 - 7:00 PM Networking and some schwag available

7:00 - 8:00 PM MockBox

8:00 PM - Software Raffle (Adobe Goodness), books and more schwag.

We will be holding our semi-annual software raffle, so get ready for some nice prices.  We also have several other prizes to give away.  Our usual pizza and drinks will be available.  So please stop by and hang out with us next week!!

April Bash! CF & Flash Builder Launch Party!

Hey everybody, we are delighted to announce our April meeting will be a cool CF & Flash Builder Launch Party on April 7th at 7PM!  We are honored to host Terry Ryan, Platform Evangelist for Adobe, as he will demonstrate these two cool products.  Not only that but we will have food, drinks, games and prizes.

Adobe just released ColdFusion Builder, Flash Builder, and Flex 4. Join ColdFusion Evangelist Terry Ryan as he takes you through the new tools and framework. He’ll also answer any questions you have about the new release. Also, one lucky attendee gets a free copy of ColdFusion Builder.

Also, since we do our CFUG presentations at Cal Poly Pomona University, students this is for you: ColdFusion Builder and Flash Builder are FREE for you!!  Just read terry's article to know more about it.  Anyways, below is the information of where this event will be hosted, as it is different from our usual meeting place, we have the big room now!
